  1. Tense: Shows when something happens.

    • Example: She walks. (present), She walked. (past), She will walk. (future)

  2. Aspect: Shows how the action happens over time.

    • Example:

      • She walks. (simple)

      • She is walking. (continuous)

      • She has walked. (perfect)

      • She has been walking. (perfect continuous)

  3. Mood: Shows the speaker’s attitude.

    • Example:

      • She walks. (fact-indicative)

      • Let’s walk! (command-imperative)

      • She could walk faster. (wish/possibility - subjunctive)
