hello there, I got to know about the below-mentioned things with the help of Saylor's Academy

NOUNS- name of a person, place, animal or thing. Example Ramu, Patna, tree, loyalty

Pronouns- they are used in the place of nouns. Example I, she, he, it, they etc.

Verb- they are action verbs. There are 2 types of verbs i.e. main verb and helping verb. Example raining, coming, was etc.

Adverb- a word that modifies a verb, advective or another adverb. Example quickly, lovely, neatly etc.

Adjective- a word that describes the noun or the pronoun. Example sweet, picky, black, golden etc.

Conjunction- they are also known as joining words. They are words to connect other words, phrases or                   in a sentence. Example and, but, or etc.

Preposition- tells us the relation of the word to the noun or pronoun. Example on, under, into, beyond etc

Interjection- a word or phrase that expresses a sudden feeling or emotion. Example yumm!, ouch!, oops!, bravo! etc
