1. Nouns – name of person, place, things or idea

Example: May is a manager in our company.

  • "May", "manager", and "company" are nouns because they are names of a person, a job, and a place.


2. Pronouns – words that replace nouns

Example: She is a student.

  • "She" is a pronoun because it replaces a girl's name.

Example: They play football.
