Past Tense Discussion

My first day at college was on the fifth I September 2024. It was a very bright day. I woke up by 6:0am because I was excited and same time nervous wondering what it will be like. I made sure I finished my chores as fast as I could, took my bath and dress as beautiful as a princess with my favorite clothes after what felt like eternity my mom was done and we drove down to my school. At college everything looked different from the way it is in high school, teachers were not dressed different with students. The first class I attended was an English class but was called GSP meaning general studied Program with course code "GSP 101" which made it more interesting. All lectures were not held in same hall which gave me the opportunity to walk half round the school. I was very excited that I forgot to eat. Eventually I was done by 5pm and called my mom to come pick me, when I got home I rushed into the kitchen and dished a large portion of food I could not finish at last then slept off till the next day.
