In the Middle Ages, the majority of people resided in villages and toiled as agricultural laborers, commonly known as peasants. They dedicated much of their produce to the lord and his family as part of their labor obligations. In exchange for their efforts, the lord provided them with essential protection.

I look forward to reading about the daily activities completed by my classmates and engaging in discussions about our shared historical perspectives.

That short passage describes the harsh and demanding life of peasants in the Middle Ages. It highlights their exhausting daily tasks, the imbalance of power between peasants and lords, and the minimal rewards they received for their labor. However, it is worth noting that the lord provided them with protection in exchange for their harsh labor.
