Parts of Speech
In the Parts of Speech lesson, I learned that every word in a sentence has a special role. For example, nouns, name people, places, or things, and verbs show actions. This helped me understand sentences more clearly.
Here are some example sentences:
The student studies hard every day.
She is very happy today.
They play football in the park.
Now, I will identify some parts of speech from these sentences:
Nouns: student, day, football, park
Verbs: studies, is, play
Adjectives: happy
Adverbs: hard, today
Pronouns: she, they
Prepositions: in
I think learning parts of speech is very important because it helps us speak and write correctly in English.
