Parts of Speech:


Nouns - a word that names a person, place, thing or idea (boy, girl, school, apple, joy, belief on something)


Pronouns - words that people use to identify themselves instead of their names (I, we, them, she, he, our, your)


Adjective - a word that describes or modifies a noun or pronoun (happy, noisy, cute, wet, soft, cool)


Verbs - a word that describes and action or state (walk, jump, teach, give, bake)


Adverbs - a word that describes verb, adjective or adverb (soon, here, always, quickly, there)


Preposition - word or group of words that show relationship of place, location or direction between words (above, below, beside, over, under)


Conjunction - connect words, phrases and clauses in sentences (and, so, because, in case, although)


Interjection - word or phrase expresses feeling or reaction (wow, gee, whoa, oh, hey, huh, haha)
