n English, there are several parts of speech that help form sentences and express ideas clearly.

Nouns are words that name a person, place, animal, thing, or idea. For example: doctor, dog, city, table, or happiness.

Pronouns are used instead of nouns to avoid repetition. Examples include he, she, it, they, and we.

Adjectives describe or give more information about nouns, such as their color, size, or quality. For example: a big house, a happy child.

Verbs describe actions or states of being. Examples include run, study, eat, and be.

Adverbs describe verbs, adjectives, or other adverbs. They often explain how, when, where, or how often something happens. For example: quickly, very, yesterday, and always.

Prepositions are words that show the relationship between a noun or pronoun and another word in the sentence. They often indicate place, time, or direction. Examples include in, on, at, under, between, and after.

Conjunctions connect words, phrases, or clauses in a sentence. Common examples are and, but, because, and or.

Finally, interjections are words or expressions used to show strong emotions or feelings. Examples include wow!, oh!, and ouch!
