I learned that every word in a sentence has a specific job to do. Nouns and verbs are the most important because they tell us who is doing what. I also realized how adverbs (like "quickly") and adjectives (like "bright") add flavour by describing those actions and things. Understanding these "building blocks" helps me write better sentences.
