Hi! I live in Pakistan, Lahore, and I work as a Section Coordinator. When I’m not working, I love hiking because the trails are beautiful. I enjoy sci‑fi but dislike horror movies. If I could travel anywhere, I’d choose Japan.

Sentence patterns/types:


· Compound: I live in Pakistan, Lahore, and I work as a Section Coordinator. (two independent clauses joined by and)

· Complex: When I’m not working, I love hiking because the trails are beautiful. (two dependent clauses + one independent clause)

· Compound: I enjoy sci‑fi but dislike horror movies. (two independent clauses joined by but)

· Complex: If I could travel anywhere, I’d choose Japan. (dependent clause + independent clause)
