Today I used the context clues strategy to learn new vocabulary. Instead of looking up every difficult word, I tried to understand the meaning by reading the sentences around it.
For example, I learned the word stoic. The sentence showed a contrast using “but,” which helped me understand that it means someone who does not show emotions. I also understood interim by noticing it was used for a short period of time
