I would choose to be fluent in all languages. While communicating with animals sounds intriguing, the ability to speak every human language would allow me to connect with people across cultures, breaking down barriers and fostering global understanding. Research shows that multilingualism enhances cognitive abilities, improves problem-solving skills, and opens doors to countless opportunities. Additionally, it could significantly reduce misunderstandings between different communities and promote peace. With the growing interconnectedness of the world, being able to communicate in any language would be a powerful tool for diplomacy, education, and personal relationships.
Would you rather be fluent in all languages or be able to communicate with animals? Why? Add any facts or ideas from research you know that would support your choice. Post your response of about 100 words in the class discussion forum.
