A lot of learning in college takes place outside of a typical classroom setting. In fact, students are often advised to spend two or three hours studying for every hour they spend in the classroom. A lot of these hours are devoted to homework assignments, essays, and studying, but you can deepen your understanding of a topic in other ways.
