Today, I tried the “Learn One New Word a Day” strategy to build my vocabulary. I chose this method because it’s simple and easy to follow every day. I picked one new word and tried to use it in different sentences throughout the day.

The new word I learned was “versatile.” It means "able to do many different things well" or "having many uses." I used it in a few sentences, such as:

  • "My teacher is very versatile; she teaches math, science, and English."

  • "This tool is so versatile—it can cut, open bottles, and even act as a screwdriver!"
