For me I watch American or English films to learn new words and expand my vocabulary.
Later I write them all down on my notepad with there definitions

I also do that. I enjoy watching western movies but usually with English subtitles for me to be able to understand them easily. I also love reading English books to expand my vocabulary.
Whenever I encounter unfamiliar words, I initially try to find it’s meaning by reading the sentence or paragraph. But if I really can’t find it, I use google.
