The 8 parts of speech is crucial in our everyday writing.

1. Noun - it talks about Person, place, things, and ideas 
Ex: Darryl is my friend.

2. Verb - It is an action verb
Ex: Jumping, singing, dancing, etc.

3. Pronoun - it is a replacement for noun 
Ex: She, he, him, we, they, etc.

4. Adjective - it modifies the noun
Ex: Darryl is handsome.

5. Adverb - modifies the verb, adjective, and adverb.
Ex: Jannah smiled excitedly when she heard about adobo food.

6. Conjunction- it connects the dependent and independent clause FANBOYS - for, and, nor, but, or, yet, so
Ex: Mayor gave me money for Christmas bonus.

7. Preposition - it shows relationship - because, with, etc.
Ex: Jannah is happy because Mayor gave her Lechon.

8. Interjection - it shows emotions
Ex: Wow!, uhm, aww, huhu, ouch

Briefing on Parts of Speech
1_Noun : this part of speech includes naming person,place,thing or an idea.
Ex. Hamlet,sword or Celebration
2_Pronouns : it simply replaces noun
3- Adjective: it modifies noun
Ex. Honest reply, kind person
4- Adverb: it modifies verb,Adjective and even itself ( adverb)
Ex. Very kind, much appreciated
5- Prepositions: They show location of nouns ; relations as well.
6- Conjunction: they're connectors of different portions of sentences
7- Interjections: collection of exclamatory words to express different emotions
8- Articles : Used before nouns
