Pronoun: A word that takes the place of a noun.
- Example: he, she, it
Verb: A word that shows an action or a state of being.
- Example: run, is, jump
Adjective: A word that describes or gives more information about a noun or pronoun.
- Example: happy, blue, tall
Adverb: A word that describes a verb, adjective, or another adverb. It often answers how, when, where, or to what extent.
- Example: quickly, very, soon
Preposition: A word that shows the relationship between a noun (or pronoun) and another word in the sentence.
- Example: in, on, under
Conjunction: A word that joins words, phrases, or clauses.
- Example: and, but, or
Interjection: A word or phrase that expresses strong emotion or sudden exclamation.
