There are eight parts of speech: nouns, pronouns, verbs, adverbs, adjectives, prepositions, conjunctions, and interjections.
Nouns: name of the objects, places, animals and people (phone, park, zebra, Mary)
Pronouns: the uses instead of nouns (I, we, you , etc.,)
Verbs: action or being ( walk, sleep, etc.,)
Adjectives: a word describes noun or pronoun (beautiful, delighted)
Adverbs : a word helps the verbs (with, hopefully)
Prepositions : showing directions, locations, time ( on, in , under)
conjunctions: connections between two or more phrases, sentences (and , because)
interjections: express the emotions or feelings (Eww! Whoops!)
