The speaker in this video offers additional advice on how Americans can protect themselves against fraud by freezing their credit with the three credit agencies: Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion. You can remove the freeze any time you need credit, such as to take out a loan or apply for a new credit card. You can also place an annual fraud alert with just one of the three credit agencies (they will alert the others). Do the banks and credit agencies in your country offer similar safety protocols?
