Review these three soundbites from prominent people. Consider the words and the ways they are delivered. As you develop soundbites for your own business needs, keep in mind how the media uses these kinds of messages to connect with audiences so that you can craft messages that the media will share.

Focus on why each sound bite was effective enough to attract media attention. Realize, however, that sound bite effectiveness comes not only from the words spoken but also how they are spoken, when, where, and by whom. Some of those traits you can control, but others you cannot.
